Exquisite Eyes

Why shouldn't a gal make the best of herself everyday?
Granted - when you're popping out to the supermarket you might not want to spend loads of time putting your "birds of paradise" colour pallette on, but sometimes I think - what the hey? And do the whole shamozzle...yes just for the supermarkets.
Thats what I love about eye make-up so much - all the natural colours to suit your personal tones can bring out the smallest feature - which means if you have run to the post office in your pajarmees, you still look fresh faced!

Example:
It's a Sunday. Im off to Waitrose / Sains, coz I am WELL bored - not much money to left in the bank for a knee's up / razzer on the tiles...so I turn on the music and pretend Im in a music video whilst getting ready (as ya do)...and lo and behold - my make up turns the drabbest outfit to a "oooh she looks nice) or what have you...

Boring blue jumper...going a bit bobbly from washing it too much.
Pair of black jeans to go with - check...THEN - I would mix it up - not shoving the same old silver pendant and silver hoops in coz they "go together"...maybe put gold with it instead. Maybe the long gold pendant will have a beautiful bird on the end - maybe the earrings will sparkle gold through your hair...yes automatically look 10 times better.

NEXT - instead of putting silver and grey tones with black eyeliner I would normally do - I brush the lid with gold eyeshadow then highlight under the brow with the same gold  (must catch the light) then fill in the contour with a darker blue - must be the same blue as the jumper - very very lightly does it from the contour (starting at the tear duct) then gradually build it up towards the outer v.

You will see it building up gradually - add more if you want...then for extra pazazz - I put a dark thin smokey line of the same blue underneath the lower lashes (for an extra smokey look) followed by a bit of gold sparkle just a minute bit under the tear duct to catch the light...

Finish with black pencil eyeliner on the bottom ridge of the eye - then put liquid liner to make your eye stand out in front of the make-up, complete with a little eye pencil to cover any gold (the liner frames all the make-up within). I like to use different mascaras on top of each other coz my lashes grow straight and down :(
So first one - a lengthening one - with a comb and strengthener...then a curved thick volumous brushed mascara to curl them into place...et voila - you have AMAZING eyeballs.

I do it as well because you never know where the wind will take you later on that evening and never again do I want to be caught out with no make up on....basically you always will look "done".
